We are seeking experienced, talented and motivated individuals with proven expertise in project management and the use of The Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB); Manual for Streets (MfS); and, SuDS CIRIA drainage guidance, to undertake the design and delivery of highway schemes. This is an interesting and wide-ranging role, where key responsibilities will be to manage the delivery processes for projects, from inception through to construction, through the use of contracts.
Formed in 2012 as a highway, engineering and construction specialist, we are a Cornwall Council-owned company, operating at arm’s length to give us the freedom to compete in markets that local authorities are unable to.
We are passionate about our natural and built environment, the role we play in connecting people, protecting our environment, unlocking opportunities, and shaping the communities we live in. We employ over 750 people and our spending – well into the millions - with local small and medium businesses helps boost the local economy.
We have at least four years of investment from Cornwall Council, who see us as ‘mission critical’ in delivery and maintaining the infrastructure needed in the county, with over £300m of exciting new projects lined up, we are in a fantastic growth position to welcome new members of our team. We want driven professionals to be a part of this exciting and innovative phase for Cormac.
Cormac is committed to Safeguarding and is an equal opportunities employer.
