This role involves providing support to the Asbestos Manager and other staff within the asbestos consultancy. It will primarily include asbestos surveying and sampling; with the provision of bulk analysis and air testing services and four-stage re-occupation certification, depending on your qualifications and experience.
You will lead teams undertaking wide ranging technical duties and complex projects manage programmes of allocated work. This involves working with Cormac colleagues within the structures Group, their partners and the Construction teams as well as Cornwall Council staff.
You will ensure that the implementation of schemes/projects/policy initiatives/bids are completed within agreed timescales as well as produce guidance, reports etc. for members and external bodies. You will lead projects for complex schemes, policies or projects to ensure the delivery of effective services.
You will provide competent professional advice and guidance to team members, other teams within the service and other directorates.
This is a great opportunity for a graduate engineer to become a Chartered or incorporated member of the institution of Civil Engineers. You will either be a Chartered (C.Eng), Incorporated (I.Eng) civil or structural engineer or working towards Chartered status.
